Vietnam: Vietnam Parliament Extends Land Lease Exemptions to Help Farmers.

Vietnam’s National Assembly approved an extension to land lease exemptions for farmland through 2025 to boost the nation’s agriculture industry, according to a posting on the government’s website, which cited finance minister Dinh Tien Dung.

The extensions aim to lure more investment into agricultural projects, according to the posting. The ministry is weighing a proposal to tax fallow land to increase the use of farm land.
