AIPA SG emphasized that the ASEAN-AIPA Leaders’ Interface and the AIPA-ASEAN Hearing during AIPA General Assembly are the platforms to discuss strategic matters and shared concerns in the region as well as to strengthen the partnership between the legislative and executive bodies of ASEAN to contribute to the promotion of a sustainable, inclusive, prosperous and resilient ASEAN Community.

The Deputy Secretary General of ASEAN was invited to deliver a presentation on the “Status of Implementation of the ASEAN Blueprint 2025”. The presentation highlighted the following important points: post COVID-19 recovery, development in the three pillars of ASEAN Community, post-2025 ASEAN Vision, and Indonesia’s ASEAN Chairmanship 2023.
