Prof. Charoen Kantawongs, AIPA Distinguished Service Award recipient (2019), passed away peacefully in Bangkok this morning after a long battle with cancer. He was surrounded by loved ones and family.

The AIPA and AIPA Secretariat are deeply saddened by the passing of an outstanding member. His valuable service, excellent contribution, and tireless efforts towards the pursuit of the goals and objectives of AIPA will always be remembered and carried forward.
