The Committee on Political Matters was held on 22 November 2022. The meeting was chaired by Hon. Hun Many, and Hon. Cheam Pe A served as the Rapporteur and the presence of delegates from eight (8) AIPA Member Parliaments. The meeting considered 5 draft resolutions and agreed to adopt them unanimously.

The draft resolutions pertinent to the report of the 13th AIPA Caucus & ASEAN-AIPA Leaders’ Interface meeting, promoting peace, solidarity, and multilateralism through ASEAN Centrality, Enhancing parliamentary diplomacy on maritime security in Southeast Asia, and Parliamentary diplomacy for the implementation of ASEAN Five-Point Consensus.
